About the Role

Assist the project team in the completion of designated projects while learning construction industry processes, procedures, and business policies.

Responsibilities

• Gain a working understanding of budgets, cost accounting, invoices, contracts, and change orders.
• Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.

Requirements

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction engineering/management or closely related field and within 18 months of graduating.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.
• Requires verification of employment to work in the U.S.

Skills

• General knowledge of estimating techniques and cost control methods.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings.
• Communicate clearly orally and in writing.
