About the Role
BDO's GTA Offices are seeking Co-op or Intern Students for the Assurance & Accounting team in January 2028 for a 4-month or 8-month term. This is a net new role where you will utilize technical knowledge for work projects, prepare working papers and financial statements, gather evidence for engagements, and build client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Utilize technical knowledge from courses to carry out work projects and assignments.
- Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements, and notice to reader engagements per regulatory standards.
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions.
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
