About the Role
Tenstorrent is seeking a Stores Clerk to manage the day-to-day operations of our stores and warehouse function, ensuring inventory accuracy and organization to support manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI) work. This role is crucial for ensuring the materials behind our AI compute technology are available when and where needed.
Responsibilities
- Manage the storeroom and inventory movements, including receipts, issues, transfers, adjustments, cycle counts, and physical inventory counts, while reconciling discrepancies against system records.
- Coordinate kitting and picking for NPI work orders.
- Issue materials to production and engineering based on approved work orders or requisitions.
- Support inventory accuracy KPIs.
- Receive and inspect shipments, verifying quantities and condition against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Prepare outgoing shipments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Manage the day-to-day operation of our stores and warehouse function.
- Keep inventory accurate, organized, and ready to support manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI) work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to three years of experience in a stores, warehouse, receiving, or inventory role.
- Manufacturing or hardware experience is a strong plus.
- Organized and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accurate inventory records and timely ERP transactions.
- Comfortable balancing receiving, put-away, kitting, material issuing, cycle counts, and shipping activities in a hands-on environment.
- A clear communicator who can coordinate effectively with Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Logistics, Sourcing, production, and other internal teams.
- Safety-minded and comfortable lifting and moving stock items up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable operating basic material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Practical and proactive, with the judgment to identify and escalate shortages, damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and aged or slow-moving stock.
- Experience with SAP or another ERP and inventory transaction system is preferred.
- Applicant must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology.
