About the Role
Gibson Dunn is a leading global law firm seeking a Business Development Specialist to support business development and visibility initiatives for its Appellate and First Amendment practices. This role involves collaborating with various teams to execute key initiatives and support business plan objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and marketing efforts for assigned practices and/or regions, and individual partner business objectives.
- Drive the creation and maintenance of collateral materials, including pitch documents, litigation matter lists, and matter descriptions.
- Support practice and individual lawyer visibility initiatives, including conferences, sponsorships, and speaking opportunities.
- Provide guidance and support for client relationship activities, such as events and opportunity spotting.
- Collaborate on client targeting efforts and research reports with the market intelligence team.
- Ensure high-quality client data maintenance by collaborating with CRM, Market Intelligence, and Directories teams.
Requirements
- High attention to detail.
- Exceptional professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact with executives comfortably.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and time management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound, independent judgments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM systems preferred.
