About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to drive the reliability, performance, resilience, and security of our network and network security infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Own the operational performance, stability, availability, and security posture of network and network security platforms end to end.
- Enhance observability across telemetry, alerting, and performance monitoring using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and ThousandEyes to enable proactive operations.
- Implement and maintain scalable, resilient datacentre network infrastructure built on Cisco and Arista technologies.
- Champion automation of operational tasks using Python, Ansible, Jinja2, and Git.
- Support and extend Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD practices for network provisioning.
- Own break/fix and incident response for complex enterprise and campus network issues.
- Drive incident management practices, including on-call rotation, escalation procedures, postmortems, and root-cause analysis.
- Implement and manage WAN CEs, with knowledge of MPLS or Segment Routing.
Requirements
- Strong background as a Network Engineer in enterprise or large-scale environments.
- Experience applying SRE, observability, and automation principles to networking, using technologies such as Python, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Experience with Cisco and Arista switching and routing, alongside network security infrastructure, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation.
- Expertise in Cisco and Arista platforms, including IOS, IOS-XR, NX-OS, and EOS.
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN, and MPLS.
- Experience with network monitoring tools and predictive analysis systems.
