About the Role
NewYork-Presbyterian/Westchester Behavioral Health Center is seeking a Storeroom Clerk to join their team. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise, verifying deliveries against purchase orders, addressing discrepancies, and maintaining receiving records. Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and distribute merchandise including food supplies, household supplies, paper goods, and equipment supplies.
- Check incoming materials against purchase orders and/or receiving reports to verify specifications and quantities.
- Address damaged, missing, and improper items.
- Process receiving records and enter information into the computer-based Integral System.
- Fill requisitions.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Participate in departmental and one-to-one meetings.
Requirements
- One year of related work experience.
- Ability to follow oral and written communication.
- Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
- Must live within a commutable distance to NYP.
