About the Role

Responsibilities
- Understand and contribute to achieving key business metrics, including profit and loss, customer satisfaction, execution standards, audit compliance, labour management, and productivity.
- Anticipate customer needs and prioritize them.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team, enhancing their skills in customer service, product knowledge, merchandising, and operational excellence.
- Create a positive and inclusive workplace by fostering colleague engagement, development, retention, and a culture of belonging.
- Build long-term relationships with the community.
- Drive merchandising excellence and operational standards.
- Be accountable for financial objectives.
- Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring operational excellence and exceptional customer service.
- Partner with the store leadership team to drive people strategies aligned with business objectives, company culture, and values.
- Provide input to the District Manager to help shape business strategy.
- Constantly look out for industry trends, propose and implement unique ideas.
- Build and lead diverse teams that foster a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills and a talent for building customer loyalty and community relationships.
- Flexibility and the ability to learn via a variety of mediums.
- Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, engagement and retention.
- Experience managing overall store operations within the grocery industry.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze data and trends to deliver outstanding business results.
- Commitment to delivering consistent results, everyday.
- A strong network in the industry and community.
- Candidates who are 18 years or older are required to complete a criminal background check.
