About the Role
Office Managers (OMs) play a central role on our School Operations Teams, ensuring students, families, and staff have the necessary information and resources to succeed. OMs coordinate day-to-day operations and routines to allow the school to run seamlessly.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for all school constituents in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Manage enrollment of new students and re-enrollment of current students.
- Oversee daily student attendance and operational systems.
- Maintain up-to-date student information and files.
- Plan and support logistics and setup for school events and activities.
- Handle bill pay and accounting.
- Manage procurement and supply for all student, staff, and event supplies.
- Maintain accurate Student Information Systems for the school and local school system.
- Serve as the secondary contact for all school constituents in person, over the phone, and via email.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal skills with teammates, teachers, students, families, and stakeholders.
- Organized and able to maintain key systems such as attendance, vendor deliveries, and student documentation.
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
- Strong time management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Achieves accuracy and thoroughness when completing tasks.
- 1 to 3 years of teaching or school administrative office experience.
- Spanish-speaking skills strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
