About the Role
This is a pure new-business sales role where you will acquire net-new organizations within a defined geographic territory. You will open doors, engage senior IT leaders, uncover business needs, and manage opportunities from initial outreach through close. The relationship transitions to account management post-sale, allowing you to focus on winning new business.
Responsibilities
- Own a defined geographic territory: build the plan, build the pipeline, build the results.
- Prospect through cold calling, email, social outreach, referrals, lead generation, and targeted outreach.
- Engage CIOs, senior IT leaders, and executives to understand their priorities and challenges.
- Lead consultative discovery to uncover business problems and connect them to Info-Tech's offerings.
- Coordinate and deliver compelling sales presentations to senior decision-makers.
- Manage the complete new-business sales cycle, from initial outreach and qualification through negotiation and close.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up, activity tracking, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Achieve and exceed established new-logo, revenue, and performance targets.
- Partner with the account management team to ensure a smooth transition following the sale.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Two or more years of frontline sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced B2B environment.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed sales targets and generate pipeline through proactive prospecting.
- Confidence managing opportunities through all stages of the new-business sales cycle.
- Experience in advisory, information services, research, technology, or business services is an asset.
