About the Role
This role is responsible for providing first and second level support for incoming help desk calls and emails, as well as desk-side support within a higher-educational environment.
Responsibilities
- Handles Deskside support requests/issues escalated from the Help Desk
- Configure, deploy, and provide support for Windows and Apple hardware/software
- Configure, deploy, and provide support for peripheral hardware (printers, etc.)
- Provide resolution and assistance to standard supported applications: MS Office 365, Browser programs, Antivirus and other supported proprietary applications and systems
Requirements
- A+ certification
- 2 years’ experience in hardware and software support required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Complete confidence in troubleshooting hardware and software issues on Windows and Apple platforms
- Complete confidence in creating and deploying images on Windows and Apple platforms
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
Experience Level
- 2 years’ experience in hardware and software support
Education Level
- A+ certification
Salary/Compensations
- $44,000-$52,000
