About the Role
Production Operator II is responsible for working with computers to process daily production, following instructions, and paying attention to detail. Creating and maintaining a clean work environment is crucial for product quality. Operators must be flexible to train and move between functional areas, performing both bench work and machine operations in a team environment. Punctuality and communication are vital for team success.
Responsibilities
- Set up and label SMT products
- Component preparation, masking and using different types of adhesives
- Mechanical assembly
- Through hole and SMT hand soldering and rework
- Interpret IPC-A-610 standards for acceptability and customer specifications
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Person, defined as either a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident (Green Card holder), and must be able to provide appropriate documentation upon hire to verify this status
- Some positions involve sensitive customer contracts and require U.S. citizenship as a condition of employment
- Must be fluent in writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
Skills
- Computer literate
- Experience working in production and PCB Assembly
- Familiarity with assembly tools and Through hole and Surface mount Technology
- Familiarity with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) electronic components and assembly process
- Familiarity with using hand tools, screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc.
- Conscientious regarding quality, time management, teamwork, and safety
- Flexibility to train and move between functional areas

- Monday to Friday, Day Shift
- Discretionary 9/80 Schedule

- High School Diploma or equivalent
