About the Role

Conifer Park is seeking a Counselor, Therapist, I or II to join their Outpatient Team in Liverpool (Syracuse), NY. This role involves providing comprehensive psychosocial assessment, diagnostic services, and counseling within an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Function as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients.
• Provide process-oriented and didactic group counseling services.
• Provide individual, family, or crisis counseling to a caseload.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in chemical dependency or related field with 1 year of applicable experience (for Counselor).
• Current CASAC-T or CASAC Certification (for Counselor).
• CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field with one year related experience (for Therapist I).
• Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations) (for Therapist I).
• Master’s Degree in related field (for Therapist II).
• Current CASAC, LMHC or LMSW with one year of experience (for Therapist II).
• Background checks, pre-employment & drug screenings required.
