About the Role
Provide clinical counseling to youth and their families in an outpatient mental health clinic embedded within a school building. Work collaboratively with the school district and an interdisciplinary team to identify and treat students with mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the school district to identify and treat a caseload of students with mental health needs.
- Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and individual and family therapy services.
- Create initial treatment plans, subsequent treatment plan reviews, and progress notes.
- Complete other documentation and assessments as indicated.
- Collaborate with the associated clinic prescriber, other medical and mental health providers, school staff, and community supports for client care.
- Attend school-based Behavioral Health Center staff meetings.
- Attend and participate in supervision.
- Provide referrals and linkages to community supports, resources, and services.
Requirements
- Experience in human services, case management, line staff at a residential program, or any other related direct care within human services, both pre and post master degree, will be considered.
- Good standing with the NYS Office of the Professions.
- NYS Driver's License in good standing.

Salary/Compensations
- $28.85 - $34.00 Hourly
