About the Role
Wright Beverage Distributing is seeking a Merchandiser to join their team, offering training, development, and growth opportunities. The role focuses on providing best-in-class customer service while upholding WBD's quality and merchandising standards.
Responsibilities
- Fill coolers, shelves, and displays with WBD products.
- Build and maintain displays.
- Utilize supplier rebates and designated point of sale/signage.
- Organize back room inventory.
- Monitor all code dates in stores, pulling close-dated or out-of-code product.
- Report problems or potential opportunities to supervisor and/or sales representative.
- Check in and out with Account Manager at each visit.
- Ensure appropriate priorities are maintained as defined by the Sales Rep/Supervisor.
- Work with Sales Rep/Supervisor to establish specific objectives and expectations for each assigned route.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid, clean NYS driver’s license that is acceptable to our insurance carrier and Wright Beverage Distributing requirements.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be comfortable interacting with retail accounts.
- Expected to represent brands across all Wright Beverage Distributing territories.
- Ability to drive to branch locations on a regular basis as required.
- Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as required.
