About the Role
Emerald is hiring Food Runners to support servers in providing an outstanding dining experience for guests. This role involves assisting with meal service, bussing tables, and resetting them for subsequent guests.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicates with food server regarding guests’ needs.
- Provides prompt and courteous food & beverage services by bringing food to table in a timely manner.
- Personally serves guests.
- Logs off register before taking breaks and before leaving for the day.
- Accurately counts drawer at end of shift.
- Completes side work in a timely manner and prior to shift end.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
