About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Respond to security-related concerns, document observations, and work collaboratively with site personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, administrative areas, public-access spaces, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe activity, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious behavior, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
