About the Role
As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Credentialing Desk, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will welcome visitors, manage access control, issue badges, monitor alarm panels, and support a professional, secure environment. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Staff the front desk, greet visitors professionally, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
- Monitor building entry points, cameras, alarms, and other assigned systems; report unusual activity, access concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying emergency responders and/or site contacts as needed.
- Answer phones, direct guests, assist with tenant requests, and provide clear information regarding building access and visitor protocols.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Skills
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
