About the Role
The Parker Jewish Institute for Health Care and Rehabilitation is seeking a Clinical Orders Specialist to process clinical orders for home health and hospice agencies, manage information from OASIS and the Health Information System, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to oversee timely orders, information management, and coding/billing processes.
Responsibilities
- Timely processing of clinical orders for Certified Home Health Agency and Hospice Agency
- Processing information from OASIS and Hospice's Health Information System
- Overseeing timely orders and information management
- Playing a key role in managing coding and billing processes for the agency
Requirements
- 2-3+ years of prior experience working in a Home Care, Hospice or similar community health setting
- Prior experience/proficiency in NetSmart or another EMR (electronic medical record)
