About the Role
The Senior Systems Analyst serves as the lead analyst and solution design specialist for enterprise technology initiatives. This role translates high-level designs into system-specific configurations, ensuring solutions are feasible, optimized, and aligned with business requirements. The Senior Systems Analyst acts as a subject matter expert, influencing solution decisions, driving design quality, and supporting the delivery of complex programs. This role also identifies opportunities to leverage AI and automation within enterprise systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and translate business requirements into scalable system solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards, roadmaps, and integration patterns.
- Lead requirements gathering, solution design, impact assessments, and cross-functional workshops to define scope, resolve gaps, and identify risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities.
- Design and support enterprise platform configurations, integrations, data flows, and AI-enabled capabilities while ensuring scalability, governance, compliance, data quality, and alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, promoting best practices, maintaining traceability across the delivery lifecycle, and supporting successful implementation and testing.
- Act as a key liaison between business and technical stakeholders, influencing requirements, leading solution trade-off discussions, mentoring team members, and collaborating with vendors and partners to support delivery.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for enterprise applications, digital commerce platforms, customer-facing portals, and Azure integration services, leading issue resolution, process optimization, automation, continuous improvement, and evaluation of emerging technologies, including AI/ML solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5–8 years of experience in a Systems Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar IT role supporting digital commerce platforms, customer portals, web applications, and large-scale business-critical systems.
- Experience with APIs, web services, middleware, enterprise integrations, relational databases, data analysis, and troubleshooting end-of-end business transactions across web and backend systems.
- Strong understanding of digital order management and customer-facing business processes, including retailer onboarding, account management, catalog management, inventory visibility, ordering, fulfillment, invoicing, and claims.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into system designs, lead solution workshops, facilitate technical discussions, and align business and technical stakeholders on solution approaches.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, and the ability to troubleshoot transactions across portal applications, middleware services, Azure integration components, and Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for system optimization, automation, continuous improvement, and adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
