About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for a Law graduate with a genuine interest in criminal, regulatory or inquest work to build a long-term career in a fascinating and highly specialised area of law. Working directly alongside a Leading Partner, you'll gain hands-on exposure to complex regulatory investigations, motor crime cases and inquests from day one, attending hearings, working with barristers and clients, and developing practical legal skills.
Responsibilities
- Attending conferences, hearings, inquests and case strategy meetings
- Taking accurate and detailed notes, capturing key decisions, advice and action points
- Liaising with courts, barristers, clients, experts and regulatory bodies
- Preparing hearing papers, bundles and supporting documentation
- Assisting with legal research, chronologies, document reviews and case preparation
- Helping to coordinate complex cases and ensuring important deadlines are met
Requirements
- Ambitious individual genuinely interested in building a career in Crime & Regulatory law
- Law graduate looking for first step into legal profession
- Graduate with legal work experience, placement experience or previous paralegal role
- Existing Paralegal seeking greater exposure to high-quality work and chance to learn from a leading expert
