About the Role
As a Citizens Teller, you will make a real difference for our customers and the branch team by greeting customers, demonstrating technology usage, and creating amazing customer experiences. You will help customers achieve their financial goals by providing personalized advice and solutions, educating them on Citizens products and benefits, and ensuring adherence to all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and legal compliance.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in lobbies.
- Demonstrate how to use mobile app or ATMs for simple transactions.
- Create amazing experiences for customers.
- Identify opportunities to help customers achieve their financial goals.
- Provide personalized advice and solutions.
- Connect customers to Bankers for next steps.
- Educate customers on Citizens products and benefits.
- Effectively respond to customer questions and concerns.
- Follow all financial policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper cash handling.
- Comply with state and local laws and regulations.
Requirements
- High School degree or GED.
- Minimum of 6 months experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
- Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services to customers.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to enhance and develop a long-term customer relationship.
- Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues.
- Customer-centric to deliver exceptional service.
- Comfortable with using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals.
- Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings.
- Qualified candidates must complete a video interview assessment after applying, to be completed within 7 days of receiving the link.
