About the Role
Second Harvest is Canada's largest food rescue organization, dedicated to recovering surplus food and redistributing it to non-profits. This role supports and strengthens the network of non-profit partners, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining strong relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with non-profit partners.
- Serve as a professional ambassador for Second Harvest.
- Deliver exceptional customer service through timely, professional, and solution-focused support.
- Respond to partner inquiries, support tickets, and Food Rescue App-related questions.
- Ensure first responses to partner and app inquiries are provided within two business days.
- Function as a liaison between non-profit partners and Second Harvest Operations.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve partner and app-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of partner interactions, inquiries, and resolutions.
- Coordinate and support the annual compliance audit process for non-profit partner locations.
- Ensure audit records, documentation, and partner information are complete, accurate, and up to date.
- Schedule and conduct audit calls with partners.
- Monitor compliance requirements and follow up with partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve audit processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to support the integrity of partner records and compliance activities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and support tickets related to partner services and operational inquiries.
- Support partner communications, outreach initiatives, and operational projects.
- Perform administrative and operational duties.
- Provide back-up support for the National Operations team during vacations, leaves, and peak operational periods.
Requirements
- Experience in a client-facing, administrative, compliance, non-profit, community services, or food sector environment is considered an asset.
- Experience with data entry, record-keeping systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proficiency with CRM software and project tracking tools are an asset.

Salary/Compensations
- $53,000-$55,000 Per Annum
