About the Role
The Applied Data Solutions Program (ADSP) Internship offers students the chance to solve real-world problems and develop data-driven solutions using Apple's data infrastructure and analytics platforms. Interns will receive close mentorship and contribute to impactful projects, expanding their technical and professional skills.
Responsibilities
- Work with Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Scientists to design, build, and deploy scalable, production-grade systems and tools.
- Apply data analysis, predictive modeling, and generative AI techniques to build and maintain end-to-end operational solutions.
- Work with large, complex data sets to drive solutions through analytical models and translate data into impactful, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with technical partners to implement robust real-time and batch decisioning pipelines in production environments.
- Explore and contribute to emerging AI/ML capabilities, including large language model (LLM) integration and applied machine intelligence.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Scala, Java, C++, or equivalent.
- Practical experience through coursework, projects, or internships in software engineering, data science, or machine learning.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle, data modeling, data structures, and machine learning algorithms.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
