About the Role
As a Negotiator, you will represent Fortune 1000 organizations by leading strategic pricing discussions with their existing supply chain partners to unlock cost reductions and improved terms. You will drive supplier decisions through strategic positioning, competitive intelligence, and consultative framing, building compelling business cases that shift negotiations in your clients' favor. This is a high-volume, strategic role for closers who understand how to navigate organizational complexity and orchestrate outcomes across multiple decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Orchestrate multiple supplier negotiations simultaneously to secure cost reductions and improved terms for Fortune 1000 clients
- Spot patterns across supplier relationships and market dynamics to identify leverage points and value creation opportunities
- Research and synthesize complex supplier ecosystems, stakeholder landscapes, and competitive positioning to inform strategy
- Connect the dots between client objectives, market conditions, and supplier constraints to frame compelling value propositions
- Adapt negotiation approaches based on supplier sophistication, organizational structure, and strategic imperatives
- Maintain pipeline velocity while delivering outcomes that exceed expectations and preserve critical supplier partnerships
- Translate technical, operational, and financial complexities into clear strategic narratives that move deals forward
Requirements
- Proven closing experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
- Mastery of consensus-building across buying committees and enterprise-level objection handling
- Ability to navigate organizational complexity and orchestrate outcomes across multiple decision-makers
- Pattern recognition, executive presence, and the ability to advance deals while preserving long-term relationships are essential
- Identify underlying business drivers and buying motivations that aren't immediately obvious
- Connect insights from multiple sources to build differentiated negotiation strategies
- Adapt your approach mid-conversation based on stakeholder reactions and new information
- Hold firm on value while maintaining relationship equity
