About the Role

Mr. Greens is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Day Crew Selector in Austin, Texas. This role involves selecting full-case grocery, frozen, and/or perishable products from warehouse pick slots using a pallet jack or other equipment, fitting items on a pallet, plastic wrapping bundles, and transporting pallets to a shipping dock, potentially loading them onto a truck for customer delivery. Safety is a top priority.

Responsibilities

Perform general physical activities: load, unload, sort, and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment.
Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments.
Select merchandise for shipment and stack neatly on a pallet using a pallet jack or forklift.
Use a pick sheet to find individual items within the warehouse.
Break down and restack merchandise from pallets.
Verify product quantities.
Ensure accurate and safe picking of items to prevent damage.
Keep the warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets.
Maintain a food-safe environment.
Report any damaged equipment to the shift supervisor or maintenance staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Must be punctual.
Must pass a drug test.
Available to work on weekends.
