About the Role

This internship offers a fall term position from September to December 2026, focusing on ad-hoc projects and supporting organizational projects within the IT Risk team. The role involves creating documentation, analyzing various data sources, and writing threat intelligence briefs. Candidates must be enrolled in a post-secondary program and returning to school after the internship.

Responsibilities

• Create documentation (how-to guides, communications, procedures, etc.)
• Analysis of documents (vendor and internal), datasets, logs, etc.
• Write threat intelligence briefs based on security events disclosures in the news media, and research impact of newly discovered information security publications

Requirements

• Enrolled in a post-secondary education program in a relevant technology discipline or designation/certification, or bring transferable skills and general knowledge of technology
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing and delivering presentations with impact
• Proactive and self-motivated with strong attention to detail, problem solving, prioritization and organizational abilities
• Demonstrable experience with MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, advanced functionality), and PowerPoint
• Proven collaboration and facilitation skills with cross-functional teams
