Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs using AWS services.
  • Build and deploy APIs using Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, and microservices architecture.
  • Develop backend services using Python, Nodejs, Java, or similar languages.
  • Integrate APIs with AWS services such as DynamoDB, RDS, S3, SNS/SQS, and Step Functions.
  • Implement authentication and authorization using IAM, Cognito, OAuth, and JWT.
  • Ensure API security, throttling, and monitoring using API Gateway features.
  • Write reusable, testable, and efficient code with proper documentation.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or GitHub Actions.
  • Enable logging, tracing, and monitoring using CloudWatch and AWS X-Ray.
  • Collaborate with front-end, DevOps, and product teams.

Requirements

  • Experience with AWS services: API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency in Python, Nodejs, or Java.
  • Experience with API tools such as Postman, Swagger, or OpenAPI.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Salary/Compensations

  • $85,000 - $95,000
