About the Role

Bon Appétit Management Company is seeking a Senior Cook to prepare nutritious and flavorful food in accordance with federal, state, local, and company standards. This role involves overseeing cooking activities, preparing menu items, operating and cleaning equipment, storing food items, following HACCP guidelines, and assisting with record-keeping and employee training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director.
• Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes.
• Operate and clean equipment after each use, and perform scheduled routine cleaning.
• Store, label, and date food items according to policy.
• Help maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products.
• Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
• Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
• Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete all required documentation, reports, and logs.
• Assist in the cross-training of employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three to five years of cooking experience is required.
• Qualified candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
