About the Role
Corning Environmental Technologies (CET) is a global leader in emissions control solutions. The Strategic Marketing Manager will translate market data and business analysis into recommendations that shape product direction, commercialization strategy, and long-term growth, influencing division leadership and business processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the division's long-term strategic planning process and coordinate annual strategy reviews.
- Drive core monthly operating rhythms, including Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Monthly Business Reviews (MBR).
- Develop the division's key performance metrics and progress tracking.
- Conduct market, competitive, and technology assessments to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with Product Line Management, Sales, and Product Engineering to define go-to-market strategies.
- Evaluate portfolio adjacencies and new product feasibility.
- Provide leadership with market-informed recommendations on product development, pricing, and investment decisions.
- Lead end-to-end strategic projects from scoping through executive-level recommendations.
- Builds collaborative partnerships across product, sales, and engineering functions.
- Manages multiple concurrent strategic workstreams with competing priorities.
- Presents complex analyses and strategic recommendations clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or business discipline with emphasis on quantitative analysis and modeling.
- 4+ years of experience in market intelligence, strategy, analytics, marketing operations, supply chain or business development and/or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to synthesize large, complex data sets into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrated exposure to markets and value chains through to the end customer.
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organization across functions, time zones, and cultures.
