About the Role

The VP, Ad Sales Marketing leads the development and execution of strategic proposals, solutions, and packages to support Clear Channel Outdoor’s National Sales teams. This role partners with Sales to build presentation materials for client proposals and new business opportunities, leveraging CCO’s capabilities and products to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead national Ad Sales Marketing strategies and programs to enable CCO’s advertising sales success.
  • Serve as a strategic marketing partner to National Sales leadership and Regional Marketing leaders.
  • Oversee the development of sales presentations, RFP responses, pitch materials, one-sheets, event packages, sponsorship programs, and scalable storytelling frameworks.
  • Partner with Sales leadership and account executives as a subject matter expert in client and agency pitch meetings.
  • Collaborate with Sales & Marketing leadership to support business development initiatives through sponsorship programs and enterprise-level partnerships.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Ad Sales Marketing team, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture.
  • Establish scalable processes for managing and prioritizing Sales requests, leveraging technology to streamline workflows.
  • Maintain strong fluency in CCO’s products and solutions, ensuring sales materials accurately reflect capabilities and competitive positioning.
  • Partner with Creative, Communications, and Regional Marketing teams for consistent branding and execution.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in integrated or ad sales marketing within a B2B marketing, media, or media sales organization.
  • Experience supporting national sales organizations and partnering directly with senior sales leadership.
  • Proven success developing strategic sales marketing programs that drive measurable revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build alignment and influence across cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Able to travel outside of the office 25% of the time.

Skills

  • Deep understanding of advertising media planning, buying, and selling across direct and programmatic channels, including industry trends.
  • Strong storytelling experience, with a track record of shaping narratives and messaging for sales collateral, case studies, and presentations.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect business priorities to marketing initiatives.
  • Eagerness to experiment with and apply new AI tools and technologies.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
  • Advanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Salesforce and ad media databases is a plus.
  • Familiarity with graphic design and presentation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), or similar platforms.

Salary/Compensations

  • $190,000 - $250,000
