About the Role

The 1st Shift Production Supervisor will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including Service Shops. This position requires an understanding of concepts, methods, and procedures, and involves executing within a well-defined operations framework with step-by-step operational tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight and management of front-line manufacturing employees, typically managing hourly employee populations.
  • Production scheduling for shop operations.
  • Resolve problems through the application of acquired expertise guided by precedent.
  • Collaborate with people from the business unit, specifying activities, planning activities, and explaining technical issues.
  • Communicate with direct team and supervisor.
  • Present to internal teams on metrics, project status, and research.
  • Ability to work in other operations to cover as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college and 3 years of manufacturing experience, OR High School Diploma/GED with a minimum 6 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing supervisory experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.

Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex problems.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Established project management skills.

Salary/Compensations

  • $91,700.00 - $152,700.00
  • Geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
  • Discretionary annual bonus
