About the Role
Production of Poly–ISO Insulation to published specifications. Tasks include processing chemical at the foam head, operation of process control panel, and calculation of output square feet, sheet length, and linear feet.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and maintain foam head area.
- Check temperature and fluid level of head part cleaner.
- Prepare and changing of head parts, nozzles and injectors.
- Preparing facer tolls and doing facer splices.
- Use of SAPI. Enter data and reading as outlined in document.
- Inspect Calibration roller or cleanliness.
- Inspect and maintain proper chemical laydown.
- Communicate with other operator and supervisor on start-up and during production run.
Requirements
- Knowledge of processing specifications and quality standards for products.
- Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies.
- Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment safely.
- Ability to read gauges, meters and tape measures.
- Operation of forklifts.
