About the Role
Production of Poly–ISO Insulation to published specifications. Tasks include processing chemical at the foam head, operation of process control panel, and knowledge of processing specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up, operate and maintain foam head area.
- Check temperature and fluid level of head part cleaner.
- Prepare and changing of head parts, nozzles and injectors.
- Preparing facer tolls and doing facer splices.
- Use of SAPI. Enter data and reading as outlined in document.
- Inspect Calibration roller or cleanliness.
- Inspect and maintain proper chemical laydown.
- Communicate with other operator and supervisor on start-up and during production run.
Requirements
- Knowledge of processing specifications and quality standards for products.
- Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment as well as the plant's general safety policies.
- Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product.
- Ability to operate mobile equipment safely.
- Ability to read gauges, meters and tape measures.
- Operation of forklifts.
- Typically 40 hours per week with overtime as required.
