About the Role

Production of Poly–ISO Insulation to published specifications. Tasks include operation of saws and packaging equipment. Knowledge of processing specifications, operation of production equipment, calculation of output square feet, sheet length. Other skills include the ability to read tape measures. Operation of forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Setup and upkeep of Lantech packaging equipment
• Change and stage lantech rolls
• Operate and troubleshoot packaging area, crossovers and robot light curtains
• Communicate product attributes to production operators for correction
• Verify accuracy of bundle piece and unit counts
• Ensure quality and proper packaging
• Maintain housekeeping of plant inside and out
• Assist in training of new team members
• Fill in other areas of the plant as required
• Cross-train in a production operator job within 4 months (Robots or Saws)

Requirements

• Knowledge and certification in Lock-out, Tag-out program
• Forklift operation
• Knowledge of processing specifications and quality standards for products
• Knowledge of safety aspects of all equipment and the plant's general safety policy
• Understanding the impact of sending incorrect/defective product
• Ability to read tape measures
• Ability to be a team player
• Ability to pass on information and training of others
