About the Role
Kidcreate Studio is seeking talented and enthusiastic art instructors to teach their Kidcreate Academy art curriculum. This role is ideal for educators who enjoy working with children and can confidently teach foundational art techniques in a fun, supportive environment, helping students build real artistic skills over time.
Responsibilities
- Teach structured art lessons that develop skills progressively over time
- Facilitate engaging classes for children of various ages and skill levels
- Demonstrate drawing, painting, and other art techniques
- Break complex skills into clear, age-appropriate steps
- Provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
Requirements
- A PDF art portfolio of 5-10 works or a portfolio website demonstrating drawing, painting, color theory, and composition skills is required with the application.
- Preferred candidates have experience teaching or working with children.
- Comfortable leading groups and managing a classroom.
- Able to teach art techniques and build skills.
