About the Role

The Supply Chain Business Partner serves as a strategic leader and primary bridge between commercial strategy and operational execution, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Category Management, R&D, and Supply Chain to drive service, growth, profitability, and end-to-end supply chain performance. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, influences business decisions, and leverages data-driven insights to enable effective decision-making, improve efficiency, and enhance customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary conduit between commercial teams and Supply Chain, ensuring alignment of market trends, customer needs, promotions, and growth initiatives with operational capabilities, while enabling commercial growth through supply chain solutions.
  • Lead and influence strategic decision-making by providing operational and financial insights, and driving key transformation initiatives such as customer order segmentation, fill rate improvement programs, and Total Portfolio Optimization.
  • Lead or contribute to the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, linking demand, supply, and financial plans, while ensuring strong linkage with execution (S&OE) to proactively manage constraints, improve forecast outlooks, and optimize service and inventory performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, and Finance to evaluate capacity, cost structures, sourcing strategies, and the financial and operational feasibility of new products, packaging changes, and product reformulations.
  • Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on reducing lead times, optimizing cost-to-serve, improving flexibility, and enhancing supply chain reliability.
  • Lead or support capital projects and innovation initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with business needs and supply chain best practices.
  • Provide analytical leadership by synthesizing data from multiple sources to identify trends, evaluate performance, and develop actionable insights that improve operational and financial outcomes.
  • Identify supply chain risks—including capacity constraints, supplier challenges, and disruptions—and lead or coordinate development of mitigation and business continuity plans.
  • Support sustainability initiatives by incorporating responsible sourcing, waste reduction, and logistics efficiency improvements into supply chain strategies and projects.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels, while collaborating with customers, distributors, and external partners to improve planning integration, resolve issues, and drive performance.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Progressive leadership experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or commercial-facing roles within CPG/FMCG (10+ years for Senior role, 7+ years otherwise).
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, supply planning, manufacturing, and distribution.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix environment and influencing stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience supporting or participating in IBP/S&OP processes, capacity planning, or financial analysis.
