About the Role
Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced, and hands-on Pro Shop Associate to join our team. Our mission is to exude hospitality, be respectful and authentic, prioritize the needs of our internal and external stakeholders above our own, and continuously strive to make a positive impact in all we do.
Responsibilities
- Welcome members and guests in a warm and friendly manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Check in and take payment for golf reservations
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and make golf reservations
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and stocking of the pro shop
- Handle merchandise and clothing purchases and payments as either credit card transactions or charges to member accounts
- Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
- Inform players of course rules, regulations, and any other relevant information
- Assist with any other administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Prior golf experience preferred but not required
- Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 pounds
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
