About the Role

Transition Management is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team at a client location, providing essential labor provision and project management services.

Responsibilities

• Repair miscellaneous gas, electric, and steam appliances.
• Maintain clean and organized shop machinery.
• Monitor and inspect boiler equipment, valves, and gauges.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC, air quality control, and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
• Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ensure professional appearance and maintain confidentiality.
• Address guest needs according to company standards.
• Perform repairs on mechanical piping and equipment.
• Handle objects of varying size and weight.
• Perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Navigate stairs, service ramps, and ladders.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Respond appropriately to concerns of other employees.

Requirements

• Resort/Hospitality experience preferred.
• Q1 License required.
• FSD License required.
• Possess general repair skills including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical.
• Demonstrate skill in the safe use of hand and power tools.
• Adapt to various work situations.
• Solve problems using facts and professional judgment.
• React quickly and decisively in emergencies.
• Collaborate effectively within a diverse team.
• Prioritize and switch between activities easily.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a well-groomed appearance and proper uniform while on duty.
