About the Role

We are looking for a driven Lunch & Recess Aide to support students during lunch and recess. Aides are an integral part of the team, supporting student safety and social-emotional development.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises student behavior while at lunch and recess, strictly enforcing behavioral expectations.
  • Supports students with maintaining a clean lunch environment.
  • Leads student activities during indoor and outdoor recess. Must be comfortable with being outside during all seasons.
  • Monitors student movement from class to common areas (bathrooms, nurse) at hallway posts.
  • Participate in food service training as needed.
  • Other lunch duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working with children required
  • American Red Cross First Aid Training Certificate is a plus
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate is a plus
  • Experience working with students with special needs as well as wheelchairs, lifts, ramps, and special needs adaptive equipment is a plus

Education Level

  • High school diploma or GED
