About the Role
The Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in City Harvest’s daily operations by managing routing, dispatch, and data analysis that drive key organizational outcomes. This person supports the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of routes while helping identify and implement improvements to increase on-time performance, reduce undeliverables, and enhance capacity utilization.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day planning, routing, and logistics operations for City Harvest’s network.
- Provide real-time updates and act as a key point of contact for routing changes, callouts, and urgent adjustments.
- Analyze operational data in Field Service, Samsara, and Power BI to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
- Assist in creating and maintaining routing documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Contribute to the achievement of departmental KPIs, including on-time performance, capacity utilization, and delivery success rates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to address logistics issues and ensure smooth coordination of deliveries and pickups.
- Support seasonal routing efforts (e.g., holiday proteins, large rescues, special events) and manage high-volume irregular stop requests.
- Contribute to data accuracy by reconciling route completion data and processing undeliverables with detailed notes.
- Communicate effectively across teams to keep stakeholders informed on key operational updates and issues.
Requirements
- Experience with routing, dispatching, and performance management is a plus.

Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Samsara, and Excel; familiarity with Power BI.

- Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and commitment to continuous improvement.
