About the Role
As a Mechanical Estimator at Linesight, you will work with experienced, culturally diverse, and passionate teams. Responsibilities
- Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team
- Help the development of the total project estimate
- Help prepare the total Project Basis of Estimate and the Estimate Risk Analysis, making cost contingency recommendations to the project team
- Analyze and make recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization, project objectives and guidelines
- Maintain a library of current local rates for use in all estimates
Requirements
- Over 5 years of experience as an Estimator with increasing scope and responsibility in a construction environment
- Demonstrated experience using estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX
- RICS, CEP or CPE chartered or on the path to complete it
- Excellent communicator verbally and in writing
- Detail oriented and quality focused
- Ability to thrive on building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared purpose and sense of openness and fun

- Degree or comparable experience in a construction related discipline
