About the Role

The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining, adjusting, and repairing manufacturing machinery. Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance
• Set up and activate specialized production machinery
• Performs spot weld
• Assembles, installs, and dismantles machinery
• Maintains hand tools in working condition
• Uses powered pallet jack
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any issues to supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 year mechanical or related experience
• Basic math skills
• Lift up to 40 pounds
• Stand for long periods of time and climb stairs, bend, lift and push
• Hand eye coordination
• Use of both hands and fingers
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate pallet jack

• $25.25 per hour, increasing to $26.75 within 6 months, which includes a $3 per hour shift differential
