About the Role

Responsibilities
- Relieve full and part time residential staff on an as-needed basis.
- Coach, support, and aid individuals recovering from mental illness with daily living activities.
- Provide supervision and assistance to residential consumers individually or in small groups.
- Observe policies and procedures to maintain a safe and supportive residential environment.
- Assist residents in developing and maintaining structured daily schedules.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques for individual support and training.
- Assist in program housekeeping, including apartment cleaning and meal preparation.
- Provide resident transportation as needed.
- Answer phones and complete administrative duties.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
- Work in any residential program within Lakeview for at least 20 hours a month.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A valid NYS Driver License preferred.
