About the Role

Strategy&, PwC's global strategy consulting business, combines strategic insight with PwC's delivery scale to help clients create and realize value through M&A and transformation. The Energy, Utilities, Resources, and Infrastructure (EURI) team focuses on investment funds, corporations, and government organizations within this vital industry. As a Director, you will shape client agendas, originate work, and lead teams to deliver strategies from concept to value realization, gaining exposure to leading companies and innovative businesses.

Responsibilities

Serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and investor clients, shaping problem statements, crafting recommendations, and driving client decision-making.
Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engagements, including commercial due diligence, growth strategy, and portfolio strategy projects.
Originate and develop client opportunities, create proposals, and contribute to sales targets.
Develop and share actionable insights on sector trends through client meetings and events.
Coach and develop team members, foster an inclusive culture, and contribute to recruiting and practice development.

Requirements

Significant depth of industry/sector experience in energy, utilities, resources, or infrastructure market segments (renewable fuels, oil & gas, chemicals, batteries, critical minerals, energy trading, or energy retail).
Minimum 5 years of experience in strategy consulting at a top-tier firm, focusing on corporate strategy, business unit strategy, and/or M&A.
Track record in M&A and value creation planning, either as an advisor or principal.
Proven ability to build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives and/or investment principals.
Demonstrated track record of originating, shaping, and converting advisory opportunities into revenue-generating projects.
