About the Role
We're looking for a Growth Engineer to own the technical surface areas that drive Decagon's growth, including our website and technical growth products. You will own the strategy behind what gets built and in what order, treating the site as a product with a real roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Own the website as a product, including strategy, prioritization, and roadmap ownership.
- Build technical growth products beyond the website, leveraging Decagon's AI stack.
- Drive conversion rate optimization by establishing testing infrastructure and cadence.
- Grow the team around you by hiring and mentoring specialists.
- Partner cross-functionally with growth/demand gen, product engineering, and sales leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering with growth/marketing exposure.
- Track record of shipping real technical products.
- Experience owning a company's website or a comparable technical growth surface as a product.
- Comfortable operating across the full stack of technical growth, including CMS architecture and hands-on product-style builds.
- Experience building and shipping growth-oriented products or tools.
- Strong technical judgment to evaluate and manage specialists in SEO/AEO and website ops.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adapt to evolving team structures.
