About the Role

Global X is building the operating system for its ETF platform's trading and portfolio management desks. This role focuses on making expert work easier and increasing business capacity through guided workflows and expert surfaces, measured by adoption and business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute product strategy and roadmap, prioritized by business value.
  • Determine which processes become guided flows and which remain expert surfaces, based on usage data.
  • Design workflows that are adaptable across different markets, calendars, and regions.
  • Monitor ETF market structure and regulatory changes to inform product direction.
  • Prototype product proposals using AI tools, creating clickable specifications.
  • Conduct data analysis to quantify business cases and support product decisions.
  • Write requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering teams and manage a prioritized backlog.
  • Quantify the platform's impact on capacity, risk reduction, and time-to-launch.
  • Drive platform adoption beyond the initial desk by identifying and onboarding new user groups.
  • Own the rollout process, including readiness criteria, training, and communications.
  • Define the behavior of AI-assisted and agent-initiated actions within the product.
  • Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to integrate controls, approvals, and audit evidence.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in product management, product ownership, or senior business analysis for investment or trading technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce prototypes, demos, internal tools, or analyses.
  • Fluent daily use of AI tooling for production.
  • Working knowledge of the investment operations lifecycle, including portfolio construction, order flow, holdings, corporate actions, benchmarks, NAV, and reconciliation.
  • Experience owning a platform build for expert users, including adoption efforts and simplification decisions.
  • Proven commercial instinct with experience in making and quantifying business cases.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
