About the Role

Develop and maintain Laser CNC programs, optimize manufacturing processes through automation, and operate and troubleshoot Laser equipment to support production by improving efficiency, quality, and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs.
  • Ensure that safe work practices are followed and the environment is protected.
  • Commitment to the Company’s policies, principles, and procedures.
  • Program Laser Cutter using CAD software and machine controls to produce parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Select appropriate power, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies to optimize production efficiency and part quality.
  • Perform first-piece inspections and make program or offset adjustments as needed.
  • Operate Laser CNC equipment to manufacture components while meeting production schedules and quality standards.
  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot programming, tooling, or machine-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate production records, program documentation, setup sheets, inspection reports, and job logs.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures, company policies, and quality management system requirements.
  • Assist in training operators and team members on Laser CNC programming, setup, and machining best practices.

Requirements

  • Work schedule of 4:45pm-3:30am Monday - Thursday.
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods during a full shift.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. unassisted; heavier loads may require team lifting or material handling equipment.
  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb as required for machine setup and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience reading technical drawings, and translating drawings to workable programs for CNC operation.
  • Ability to visually inspect finished products for defects, and match specifications from technical drawings, ie. Read rulers and micrometers.

Salary/Compensations

  • $24.00-$34.00/hour
