About the Role
The Commerce team provides product teams with the freedom to build modern, flexible, data-driven backend solutions. These solutions enable Cimpress businesses to scale efficiently with rapid product launches and new market penetration, offering greater flexibility than third-party software. Our products, CimCommerce v2 (CCv2), CimCommerce v1 (CCv1), and Platform Orders, support Web2Print experiences and are engineered for future growth in marketplaces, AI innovation, and omni-channel expansion, aiming to support $10B in annual transaction volume.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with merchants and CT domains.
- Understand the real 'why' behind merchant requests, not just the surface request.
- Anticipate future merchant and engineer needs for scaling.
- Own complex products impacting multiple teams and Cimpress Technology domains.
- Utilize data to make informed decisions regarding order volume, merchant satisfaction, and system performance.
- Define and regularly track clear success metrics.
- Understand the connection between Order Management, APIs, events, micro-services, and the platform.
- Collaborate with engineers on architecture and system design, actively shaping solutions.
- Monitor market trends and emerging technologies to propose new order management capabilities.
- Create a clear vision and roadmap for Order Management.
- Navigate complexity and uncertainty by gathering input from Cimpress businesses, engineers, operations, and leadership.
- Own the Order Management solution end-to-end, making key decisions.
- Collaborate across product teams (Quote, Cart, Checkout, Fulfillment) to enhance customer experiences.
- Mentor direct reports and support the growth of junior PMs.
- Build alignment through collaboration and influence.
- Remain open to feedback and adjust course based on data or stakeholder input.
- Ensure team and work reflect inclusive, respectful practices.
Requirements
- 8+ years in product management, with 3+ years at a senior or principal level.
- Track record managing complex, multi-stakeholder products.
- Deep expertise in e-commerce, order management, or similar mission-critical systems.
- Experience treating internal engineering teams as customers (platform products, infrastructure, or internal tools).
