  • Lead and manage cross-functional projects related to enterprise risk initiatives, governance enhancements, process improvements, and strategic business priorities.
  • Drive project planning, stakeholder coordination, execution tracking, and delivery of key risk management initiatives across multiple teams and functions.
  • Lead risk assessments across key functional areas including operations, treasury, legal, compliance, finance, technology, cybersecurity, and valuation.
  • Shape enterprise risk strategy, governance frameworks, and risk oversight priorities for rapidly growing businesses.
  • Lead thematic reviews and deep dives into areas such as operational resiliency, vendor risk, data governance, model governance, and business continuity.
  • Monitor emerging enterprise risks impacting investment platforms, including market structure changes, regulatory developments, operational complexity, and scaling risks.
  • Prepare risk reporting and presentations for senior management, governance committees, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Act as a senior escalation point for material incidents, emerging risks, and governance issues.
  • Manage and develop junior risk professionals and help build the broader risk organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in enterprise risk, portfolio risk management, operational risk, or investment risk within an alternative asset manager, bank, insurance company, or institutional investor.
  • Experience managing junior team members and leading cross-functional initiatives or projects.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, including managing multiple workstreams, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver complex initiatives in dynamic environments.
  • Engage credibly with senior investment professionals and executive leadership.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to synthesize complex issues for senior audiences.
