About the Role
Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. seeks a Strategic Development Specialist in New York, NY to drive business-relevant sustainability strategy development and enable front-office execution by creating actionable frameworks, market insights, and client-facing materials that align with revenue objectives and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise or regional level banking strategies.
- Design target operating models covering governance structures, roles and responsibilities, decision-making frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
- Apply quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis, to support strategic planning, prioritization, and decision-making.
- Support multi-year program and portfolio governance frameworks, including milestone tracking, prioritization, performance review, and change or re-prioritization processes across multiple stakeholders.
- Work with senior stakeholders across business lines and infrastructure functions, coordinating inputs across regions, and translating diverse requirements into aligned strategic or operational solutions.
- Prepare executive and board-level materials, including strategy papers, business cases, progress updates, and decision documents that synthesize complex analyses into clear recommendations.
- Incorporate regulatory, risk, and control considerations into strategic and operational analysis, ensuring that proposed solutions are feasible within governance, compliance and risk frameworks.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance, related field or equivalent.
- Four (4) years of experience developing enterprise or regional level banking strategies.
- Experience in the design of target operating models covering governance structures, roles and responsibilities, decision-making frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
- Experience applying quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques, including forecasting, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis, to support strategic planning, prioritization, and decision-making.
- Experience supporting multi-year program and portfolio governance frameworks, including milestone tracking, prioritization, performance review, and change or re-prioritization processes across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders across business lines and infrastructure functions, coordinating inputs across regions, and translating diverse requirements into aligned strategic or operational solutions.
- Experience preparing executive and board-level materials, including strategy papers, business cases, progress updates, and decision documents that synthesize complex analyses into clear recommendations.
- Experience incorporating regulatory, risk, and control considerations into strategic and operational analysis, ensuring that proposed solutions are feasible within governance, compliance and risk frameworks.
